Aundreana Martinez
Aundreana Martinez is the Blue Group teacher. She has been on staff at Columbia for 18 years. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal studies from Cal Poly and 16 units in early Childhood Studies. Aundreana has been instrumental in the development of our Kindergarten Readiness Program. She has received wonderful reviews from Kindergarten teachers in our community.
Veronica Alarcon
Veronica Alarcon is the Purple Group Teacher. She has been on staff at Columbia for 7 years. Veronica received her Associate of Science Degree in Early Childhood Studies from Allan Hancock College and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Child Development from LaVerne University. She was awarded her Child Development Master Teacher permit in 2007. Veronica is a bilingual teacher and is an important asset to Columbia Children's Center.
Cortney LaMere
Cortney LaMere is our Yellow Group teacher. She has been an integral part of the Columbia teaching team for 6 years. She has 20 units in early childhood studies, a bachelor of business management from Antioch University and an associates degree in liberal studies from Allan Hancock College. Cortney's fun and loving ability to guide children in a learning environment makes her a perfect match for our preschool program
Tresha Emery
Tresha Emery is the Red Group teacher. Tresha has been teaching at CCC for 7 1/2 years. She has completed her ECS units at Allan Hancock College. Tresha has a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and is continuing her studies at Chapman University to attain her teachers credential and Masters Degree in Education. She has taught and experienced all of our age levels at Columbia. Tresha loves teaching all ages of children.
Karen Newman
Karen Newman has been a vibrant member of our teaching staff for 5 years. She has 12.5 units in early childhood studies from Allan Hancock College. Karen is the lead teacher in our Toddler program. She insists on "hands on" art and craft activities promoting exploration and creativity. Karen's positive outlook on life and her dedication to teaching make her an asset to our center.
