Our young toddler program in Santa Maria serves children between the ages of 18 months and 30 months. Our teacher to child ratio is 1:6 so each child receives individual attention and support in a safe, nurturing setting.
To ensure that each child receives the attention they need, we keep our group size at a maximum of 12 children. Our structured, yet flexible approach, allows children to thrive and reach their full potential.
Our Young Toddler classroom is designed to be both stimulating and age-appropriate, with a variety of activities and toys that encourage exploration and learning. Children are encouraged to communicate their wants and needs. We focus on creating learning and social experiences through play.
We believe that play-based learning is the best way for young children to learn and we strive to provide an environment that is both fun and educational. Our experienced staff is dedicated to providing the best care and education for your child.
A day in our Young Toddler program
- 7:00 - 8:00 Arrival, Free Choice Activities, Early Morning Snack
- 8:00 - 9:30 Free Choice, Songs, Puzzles, Clean Up, Snack, Diapering
- 9:30 - 10:15 Rotation of Story, Sensory Exploration, Art
- 10:15 - 10:45 Outside Play (Gross Motor Activites)
- 10:45 - 12:15 Free Choice, Diapering, Hand Washing, Lunch, Outside Play
- 12:15 - 2:30 Nap
- 2:30 - 3:15 Diapering, Shoes On, Hand Washing, Snack
- 3:15 - 4:00 Rotation of Music, Language Arts, Art
- 4:00 - 4:30 Outside Play (Gross Motor Activites)
- 4:30 - 5:30 Puzzles, Manipulatives, Diapering, Late Snack, Free Choice
Young Toddler Weekly Tuition Rates
2 days per week: $225
3 days per week: $280
4 days per week: $325
5 days per week: $385
There is an annual registration fee of $150 per child. A 10% discount will be given for each additional child in a family.
Single extra days may be arranged with the director at a rate of: $115.
